How Do Glacier Shuttles and Last-Mile Transportation Work?
The 2026 park shuttle is a ticketed Logan Pass express system, not comprehensive trailhead circulation. Local transit, hotel shuttles, taxis, rideshare, and commercial transfers solve different pieces, but none should be assumed without confirmation.

The short answer
Reserve critical transportation in writing. An available Uber or Lyft icon does not guarantee a remote pickup, bicycle capacity, an early-morning driver, or a ride after the last park shuttle.
What the 2026 park shuttle does
Ticketed morning departures run from Apgar Visitor Center, Lake McDonald Lodge, St. Mary Visitor Center, and Rising Sun to Logan Pass, with limited Loop service on the west. Return departures are approximate. Missing the last shuttle can leave no public transportation back to the original vehicle.
